The shadow of a tree strikes the front of a Victorian house with the branches spreading across the whole house like a spider's web.

Silver

A silver bolt stands on the end of its thread. To the left a nut stands on its edge. To the right stands a locknut on its edge. All three parts have strong shadows - the centre one showing the shadow of the hexagonal head, the one on the left showing the chamfered edge of the nut and the one on the right showing the square edge to the locknut.

Cobham Park, Surrey

A magnificent view of the french chateux style architecture of the back of Cobham Park from across the lake

Cobham Park in Surrey is a country house that was once the family home of the Combe family until the early part of the 20th century. It was then used as offices by Eagle Star insurance, followed, after a break, by the IT consultancy company Logica. At the beginning of the 21st century it was converted to residential use as apartments. There is a potted history with photographs from the time that Logica vacated the property and the start of the renovations.
